Art Show & Sale
Willow Member Artists working in all visual arts mediums are invited to submit up to 5 artworks to be considered for juried visual arts displays in St. Catharines. Work must be ready-to-hang & can be flat or 3-dimensional.
Member Artists set their own prices and receive 100% of that price when artwork sells. The Willow adds a service fee of 15% to every sale price that goes toward our annual operating budget to support the Willow membership.
Featured Member Artists gain access to new markets, a potential to earn income, and can grow their artist CV. Member Artists are promoted on the website, through emails, posters, & social media. Featured Member Artists work alongside staff to plan & host opening receptions.
WHEN & WHERE ARE THE ART SHOWS
Willow Arts Community launched this program at Studio 4 Tattoo Parlour in the Fall 2019, and has expanded to DiPaola Di Pietro & Little Professional Corporation and Rodman Hall Art Centre in the Winter of 2019. New locations are being explored for 2020.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Member Artists complete an application form and submit support materials. A jury comprising of staff, board members, & representatives from the presenting location select the work for display.
Member Artists will be notified by email or phone & details will follow about artwork drop off, advertising, & opening receptions.
