Open Studio

What is Open Studio?

Open Studios are a great place to connect with peers & discover new interests. The Willow provides 2.5 hours a week of shared studio space during each Professional Arts Training season for peer & self-led arts creation with access to materials & resources. Member Artists can explore new art projects or work on projects from the Professional Arts Training program.

Member Artists are encouraged to bring in their own projects & materials from home. The Willow provides access to dry media (pencils, charcoal, pencil crayons, markers) wet media (acrylic & watercolour paint), mixed media (magazines, glue, scissors) and fibre arts (fabric, yarn, embroidery floss, beads) as well as access to resources (drawing & writing resources, artist statement & grant info)

Emerging & established Member Artists can sign-up to facilitate small workshops each season. Check out the opportunities page to learn more.
