Building a Brighter, United Community

ReNew The View is a unique, large scale project to transform the boarding surrounding the construction site at 282 Ontario St. into pieces of art. The owners of the former GM lands have joined forces with Willow Arts Community to ReNew The View with vibrant murals painted on the blank plywood along all four streets bordering the site.

This is first and foremost a community project. The murals are being designed to celebrate what’s special about the neighbourhoods as well as recognize GM workers who lived across the city. They are being designed and painted by artists from Willow Arts Community.
