Speak To It

A radio show run by peers living with mental illness and/or substance use in Niagara.

We’re here to create dialogue, celebrate journeys and bridge communities.

The episodes of Speak to It have been created by people with lived or living experience of mental illness and/or substance use participating in arts education programs at the Willow Arts Community. Topics are chosen by class participants. Members receive hands-on training in radio production from microphone basics to sound recording, editing, and show development. They also discuss hosting roles and responsibilities, research, and regulatory considerations for broadcast.

Speak to It airs on CFBU 103.7 FM Tuesdays at noon. Tune in here (opens in new window)
