Special Projects happen all year round and are usually supported by specific grants, donations, or fees for service.
In-Studio Special Projects
Willow sometimes offers cross-season programming featuring multiple courses and workshops on a common theme, and have included projects centered around music, visual arts, writing, and media arts such as
In-Community Special Projects
- Public Art & Murals
- Community Art Making Activities
- Programs for Youth
We also take on Special Projects in the community, often in partnership with local agencies and social justice groups. These partnerships are vital because it allows Willow Arts to expand our reach beyond our studio to work with agencies that align with our values. These projects provide paid opportunities for Willow Arts members to lead projects in the community, fostering leadership and artistic growth.
